Exhibitions

The walls of the café change with the seasons. Each hanging features an artist from the neighbourhood, and every canvas on show is for sale.

The artists

Clara Levesque

Clara (she/her) is an Indian-Québécois transdisciplinary artist, educator, researcher, and community organizer working from an ecofeminist lens. She mainly illustrates figurative nymphs and creates her own paper from upcycled material including chai. She has a background in Psychology and is currently studying to become an art therapist. With the ethereal beauty of nature, Clara is inspired by the authentic connection & storytelling established between people, their narrative, and their well-being. Clara is passionate about using her artmaking as a platform for healing, fostering discussions, empowerment, and reclaiming identity surrounding issues of intimate partner violence.

Lisa Stock

Born in Montreal, Lisa built her creative career from the ground up through grit, perseverance, and an early passion for visual storytelling. Her breakthrough came in 2009 with concert photography at Drum Fest, leading to international features including Modern Drummer Magazine and a leap into full-time self-employment by 2011. Today, as a mother and multidisciplinary artist, her work bridges photography, soul painting, storytelling, and sound healing, driven by the belief that creativity has the power to heal, transform, and connect deeply with the soul.
